HPCI à l’ICPIC de Genève
Du 20 au 23 Juin s’est tenu à Genève l’ICPIC, un des rendez-vous incontournables des professionnels en prévention et contrôle des infections auquel l’unité HPCi Vaud et le Chuv ont participé.
4 présentations de posters qui ont retenu beaucoup d’attention : « Hygiene campaign to improve compliance in nursing homes », «Control of a rotavirus gastroenteritis outbreak in three psychogeriatric units », « Whole genome sequencing highlighted two small ST117 vancomycine resistant Enteroccus outbreaks within a large ST80 outbreak » et « Performance of Acinetobacter baumannii screening among patients admitted in ICU at a Swiss tertiary care hospital ».
Et également une belle présentation orale « Epidemiology of community-aquired and nosocomial bloodstream infections in hospitals and clinics of three Cantons of Switzerland: a fifteen year report (2001-2015) ».
L’unité cantonale HPCi tient à féliciter nos collègues de l’Hôpital Neuchâtelois pour le prix Hand Hygiene Award décerné pour leur stratégie de promotion de l’hygiène des mains.
